think ive just got the girlfriend a gas gas 300 2 stroke for her tast of green laning good or bad ?

Mmm, nothing like chucking someone in at the deep end! They are good bikes but can be a bit fast if you're not delicate with the throttle. She'll either love it or hate it!
However if she's a novice I'd not recommend it.
I'm assuming it's the enduro bike?

she had 350 lcs used to ride my rg500 and now as a z1000 yes enduro

EC 300 or Pampera ?
If it's on older version of the former then it's a mad-fast, nutter-bastard. If it's the Pampera then it's a sweet trail bike.
