Did this and the extreme a couple of years ago. Took 18 hours first day without a real stop other than fuel food and calls of nature then 7 hours the following day through the night as you start at around midnight.Great event but you need lights lights and more lights much of this is at night and the tracks can be narrow rocky and skirt the mountains. Well organised, food is provided at stops en route. You need to plan to leave your van etc at the finish then ride to the start the day before. Highly recommend it.

Re: Anyone attempted this?
I've done it twice, once on a 1150 gs the other on a Xt 600, if you do lanes then you will find it quite easy, I got the most fun out of it on the Xt, the Italians are great on turning up on the prestige motorbikes some really nice machines all dressed up for the prom, when they are finish the ride they look like they have been rapped,
I would be interested in doing this again on my Xt,

What's the rough outline of the event - I can't quite make it out from the web site? Point A to point B navigation event, overnight / multi day? Accomodation?Grahamkevinbutler wrote:I've done it twice, once on a 1150 gs the other on a Xt 600, if you do lanes then you will find it quite easy, I got the most fun out of it on the Xt, the Italians are great on turning up on the prestige motorbikes some really nice machines all dressed up for the prom, when they are finish the ride they look like they have been rapped,

From what I have read and seen (youtube) it is a A to B event that goes overnight.
Upto about 600 km (cant really remember) depending on which class you enter and about 60- 80% offroad/ traks.
