Here's my new steed,im a bit excited lol,i'm the new happy owner of a Mk3 Versys 650 GT,got it delivered on Monday and so far I'm a very happy man.I had the Mk2 for 4yrs and I knew how good a bike that was,i'm still running it in at the moment so it's steady away for now.

Nice.
Do you notice much difference in the ergonomics? particularly riding position? particularly the bars-seat-tank-pegs relationship. I've had three mark I's and a mark II and liked them a lot, but found them a bit 'tucked', even with the Speedy lowering pegs (as in not as 'leggy' as the 660 Tenere which I got to replace the V - different beast of course, but just wondering.) It might be a bike I consider in the future, but I don't want to feel cramped on an adventure style bike. Thanks

Oh, and does that green spring come on them all, regardless of colour?

Boggs, that looks nice in that colour, are you taking it to the NVM next week ? I have a MK1 which is one of the better bikes I have owned, they are a very good jack of all trades and underated.

Hello mate,i can remember your username from the Versys forum, yeah its more comfortable than my Mk2,in the Kawasaki info it states that pegs are positioned lower and more forward,by how much I don't know but I can tell the difference. It's definitely roomier,at times I sometimes used to get a bit cramp in the hips on the Mk2,im 5ft 11" with an inside leg of about 30"-31".The green shock isn't on all of them,i have no idea why some have and some haven't but ive heard whispers it adds another 10bhp
