Hi all new to the group and to motorcycles . Done my cbt in sept 2015 and have a Yamaha Ybr great bike
I'm used to going everywhere by pushbike so now I can go further afield enjoying the bike loads though can't find many panniers for the bike and only one specific pannier rack so I've decided to make my own out of medium ammo cans £30 for two and have to make my own rack going to be fun

I have the cans and weight isn't to bad to be honest they are only small cans 27cm X 18 X 14 I have a top box but once my clothes bag and items in there I like the idea of side panniers for food stuffs camping equipment small stove gas first aid kit ect and leaves me some space for any souvenirs of travelsratass wrote:Welcome to the fold, ammo cans may be weighty on there own ,have you considered soft bags to start off with ,if you want to build a rack i make hoops,pm if you like,
