I'll be supporting England but only because it's where I was born rather than being because they always play rugby that's good to watch :pinch:
I can't see past New Zealand when it comes to predicting a winner and if I'm honest I'll take it as a bit of a result if England get out of their group (thumbs)

Ostensibly England, but there is something about Lancaster and his teams that really grates.... Until Wales started losing players, I had my doubts on England getting out of the group!!
Ireland should be good vfm.
I love my Rugby, but I have not been as excited as I should by this RWC. I am not alone... The ticket allocations was a disgrace and an insult to many rugby clubs. Welford Rd has real character, where do they go? Another bland impersonal footie stadium, in Leicester ffs!!
Hopefully a few beers will warm me up come Friday. My daughter is going to the Italy match with her (anglo-italian) boyfriend on Saturday and is very excited!!

My SiL was ready to pop me when I suggested such a treasonous statement as doubting Englands ability!! I asked her to put her money where her mouth was, but the odds from the Bookies was better...!
Just pondering whether to grab some tickets for one of the "lesser" games in early October, but then I look at the cost, location and the travel hassles and say sod it! I'll watch it on the telly.
Overpriced tickets here!!
Disappointed a bit really, as to see some live matches was one I was looking forward to. Maybe get some of the craic and go watch the games at the local Rugby club with my son.

The ticket prices are ridiculously expensive and as you say with accommodation, food and
beers it's a weeks in Spain or one night of rugby
We will all go the family and friends route down at the local Lincoln rugby club

Me and my gang have got tickets to Ireland Canada on Saturday afternoon in Cardiff and I'm starting to look forward to it. The tickets were stupidly expensive, especially when coupled with the train.

With a bit of patience you can have your cake ...
They've been playing rugby in Catalonia for years and now starting to get quite good. All we need is independence and a national team will be out there

Same here, we looked at scotland vs japan but the train prices are ridiculous. Add in a couple nights hotels and its no good.
To the local it is then.

Hi guys
I think wales will be a better attacking side without lee halfpenny, as apart from kicking and decent defence that's all hes used for, liam Williams is a great player, I think mike Philips will play against England..

One more sleep then it will all kick off,I'd like to see a couple of the UK teams through and the irish can upset anyone if they have a good day,the bokke have one of the most capped teams ever
I was at the 1995 RWC in South Africa and the tickets were so cheap I went to about 10 of the qualies and a couple of knockout stages games and I spent more on beer than the tickets
