Last week I rode Strata Florida and Sarn Helen.....lots of pics
Last week was possibly the best and also the most challenging of my life, I rode Strata Florida, Sarn Helen and a few more around the LLandovery area.
The only lanes I've ridden before have been a few in the Thetford area, so this was definately a case of jumping in the deep end feet first :silly:
And Herbie, my cute little CRF230 didn't let me down once
All loaded and ready for the off
At Lynn Brianne
Can we go down that slide??
At the top of our first rocky climb....wow did I feel good!!
My man (Homer) doing what men do!
Our first river crossing
Our bikes in Tregaren
Strata Florida
Hmmmmm....I got stuck!
Homer wringing his socks out!
Having a play on my trials bike on the B&B enduro course
Just how I like my man....all mucky!
My little Herbie about to have his fork seals changed
Back on the road....an old Roman road
Our jackets drying out while we have some much needed food
Caught in the act again.....
How far can a KTM lean?
The climb that I stuffed it on!!!
Homer having a play on my bike
THE START OF SARN HELEN.....our B&B owners said we had no worries doing it as the case got dropped last week and the police wouldn’t waste any more money on pointless court cases.....yippppppeeeeee!
That rocky climb on Sarn....I stuffed it on that too.....
That crossing and steps, I took the easy route, but Homer made it all the way up....wahey!
Got it on video, will post when converted format.
The amazing B&B we stayed at, they gave us so much advice on all our routes, it’s a real top place to stay for off roading http://www.cambrianway.com/index.cfm?id=106
The view from the patio
I had an amazing 4 days trail riding and can not recommend Llanerchindda guest house enough, it’s a great base, with a drying room, map room and lots of knowledge from the owners....oh and wonderful food!

Great stuff. Yes tempted to get a DRZ400 or something lighter than my R1200. Looks a little more forgiving! Awesome stuff!

Good folks at Llanerchindda and well set up for us muddy types. I'll never forget the smell of the drying room in the morning  Thanks for reminding me of a good trip we did.
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.
