Well, don't ask me why , but I've gone and bought another XR400 to keep mine company in the garage.
Actually, I bought it as a wee winter project to tidy up and move on in the spring of next year but it's in absolutely cracking condition.
Might just keep it to look at.
XR400 is it any good ???

Well, if one is good, two must be at least twice as satisfying!Kirky1298 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 2:41 pm Well, don't ask me why , but I've gone and bought another XR400 to keep mine company in the garage.

Still got my XR400 engined Honda Falcon, love it too much to sell! Still think the XR400 with an electric start I came across on a TRF ride up North some years ago, was a worthwhile addition, why on earth it was not standard....?
Honda Brazil are still selling them in South America, but with a FI engine these days. Sadly, emission regs will never allow them into Yurrup/UK Be nice to shoehorn one into an enduro frame....

Steve, I'd love to fit a magic button to the XR and am just waiting for a TRX400EX Engine to come up at the right price
To be fair though, the XR starts first kick with the Mikuni pumper carb fitted even if she's been on her side for a nap.
