Newbie here so you can tell me this is a rubbish idea thats been done to death if you like! Been reading about mountain festivals and adventure film festivals and wondered if there was a similar thing for adventure bike riders. Couple of days someplace with some people talking about their trips, maybe a workshop or two on practical stuff, possibly even a bar. Has that been done? A quick Google search didn't turn up anything.
Cheers!

Check out http://overlandevent.com looks like a good event. There isn't a UK HUBB event this year. Also a show in September in Stratford upon Avon, also check out the adventure film festival in London late Augustnevsey wrote:There's the Overland event on 19th-21st June in Buckinghamshire

The HUBB is being held this year in Lisbellaw, Co Fermanagh, N Ireland which was still part of the UK last time I looked.Willandkate wrote:Check out http://overlandevent.com looks like a good event. Thanks everybody for the replies. I'll just get settled down then and do a bit of surfing whilst nursing a pint of Old Golden Hen. Cheers!
Re: Adventure bike festival
There is no HUBB UK this year, there is a HU meeting in Ireland, what's the difference? Scale, I think. The Stratford weekend is aimed at the 4x4 travelling community and is a bit poor for bikes.
Re: Adventure bike festival
As StephenMac has already pointed out, the UK event this year is in Northern Ireland, which is a completely different country from Ireland, as it is separated by a thing called a border (thumbs)Tourider wrote:There is no HUBB UK this year, there is a HU meeting in Ireland, what's the difference? Well I'll be damned.
I usually facillitate at the UK events and when Grant, Susan and Sam told me the 2015 UK event was cancelled I believed them.
Do you think they may be trying to tell me something......
