As per title, I'm after an xt660z tenere.
Ideally 09 - 11 year, due to lack of funds for a newer bike, ideally not starship enterprise mileage.

I'm just about to sell mine, but it may be a little more than you want to pay.I bought it to ride from Anchorage to Ushuaia in 2013 and have done very little with it since.
Obviously it has a good number of miles on it but at least it got properly warm in use wasn't used for short shopping trips! I'm a bit fussy about keeping up with servicing so engine oil was changed 4 times during that trip. The bike is in completely standard trim, no fuelling or exhaust mods done, I found the performance and ride quality to be fine as manufactured.Machine is not a sad POS,not been dropped or thrashed and is as lively, taught and peppy as when new.
On return from South America the bike was gently stripped [tank,exhaust,rear end,front end,fairing etc etc] and cleaned it took me 6 weeks!

2 power points [DIN plug] in front fairing for SATNAV, home battery monitor.
Small unobtrusive LED charging telltale [keeps an eye on alternator output]
Barkbusters handguards
Oxford heated grips, later reliable type
Centre stand- most important for chain fettling
Pannier racks and really robust Peli cases fitted[not huge about 21 litres each]
Touratech aluminium rear rack - good size but not in the way really useful for roll bags etc.
FAMSA Tank bag to suit included, which is the shabbiest bit of the whole package. In need of slight repair - the zip comes away from the harness something they all do apparently!
Decent aftermarket Adventure Spec alloy bash plate and crash bars [Touratec I think] fitted.
Pair of small neat LED extra spotlights
Bad points:
Some small chaffing of paint on tank from tank bag, not seriously bad and in line with miles/use.
A few scrapes on handguards.
Tyres will need renewing. Mitas fitted, I've found them first rate on road and ripio.

Yeah I've been sniffing around for a few weeks now, though they are all mostly at dealers. There is one over Glasgow way, private, the extras I want, just still a bit more than I want to pay for it though.
