My F800GS averages 57mpg, or about 12 mpl. Riding below 70 will see 250 miles from the tank, an average of 71. Very impressive really, and over the life of the bike it eats into a chunk of the initial outlay.

Not sure about Miles per gallon, I just go on range,
my normal in Germany is 350km to reserve (about20lts)
In Norway with the fear of a speeding ticket and riding no faster than the national speed limit (90Kmh) I was up to 400 km.
Just replaced the chain set with 17/45 instead of the standard 16/42 so I wonder what I'll be getting now

Getting hands on a diesel M1030 would be nice. 140mpg and the option of a weapon holster. :P

Think of all the beers you'd save with that!
