I'm afraid that as the weather warms up we will see a lot of this type of arse on the road followed by news articles about single vehicle bike accidents.
Where I am working now there are loads of blokes who see me turn up on my bike and come for a chat. They have latest pocket rockets but have not ridden since late September as it got a bit cold for them. They are itching to go 'fast' again and we all know what the result will be.

Spot on I think the same each and every spring, they may have got to a half decent standard by the end of their last summers riding but then go rusty after 5 or 6 mths off. Their brains don't twig this but their bodies simply aren't up to the speeds they believe they can do. The worse culprits are the groups of riders where the first 2 or 3 overtake a car/truck etc, the 3rd and 4th still go for the overtake and just make it...the 5th, 6th etc still go for the self same overtake and occasionally don't make it. Of course it gets blamed on someone else...by the bikers.

I'd have given the one who crashed trying to pull a wheelie a life time ban for being so crap

Its unfortunate for him that he had the crash.
But lets say even if he didn't hit the oncoming vehicle and crashed anyway, more than likely police would have been called to the scene.
If they seized his camera (which I believe they would have the power to do) to view what was recorded with regards to the accident, he had earlier footage of riding at over 130mph, so would have got done for dangerous driving anyway :S

I don't think any of my bikes go that fast? If they did I think I would switch the camera off before riding at those kind of speeds.
He's even more of a knob for providing the evidence that was used against him.

Knobend.
If you're going to ride at 130mph, don't film it. Actually, just don't do it at all on the public roads.

gents, you are brushing a lot of us sports bikes with the same brush, dont ride mine when the salt hits the roads but ride summat all year round, so do mot of my mates.
I do a lot of walking and see off road bikes spending more time on their arses than upright but i dont judge.
speeding in a 30/40 get what you deserve
