Re: ABR Ireland 2015 Sign Up Thread
Was up there myself as well, was a lovely day to be out. Anyway here is the route for the all day ride out on Saturday
Leaving The Sheperds Rest at 09.00, we will make our way to Plumbridge, via mostly single track roads, be advised that there are some bad pot holes and gravel in the wrong places, corners & junctions along this first part of the route so we will take it nice and easy.
We will stop at Plumbridge where the locals will provide us with a cooked breakfast and tea/coffee for£5 per head. From there he route will pass throuh Cranagh, Park, Claudy where we cross a busy junction (A6) then continue to Limavady.
We will continue on to Downhil then the Bishops Road to the B201 and un to Coleraine where we follow the signs for Belfast (A26) then the B147 through Stranocum and through the Dark Hedges to Armoy, then on to Ballycastle where we will stop for food, several cafes to choose from here.
We then follow the Causeway Coast through Ballintoy Bushmills Portrush, back towards Limavady via Coleraine then Dungiven and back to Draperstown.
I do not expect us to be back unfil 8-9 pm total milage around 200
If I could ask those who want to partake in this run and the breakfast to show their intent . I will need numbers for the people who are orginising the breakfast in Plumbridge.
We will adopt he drop off method which worked well last year
Can i also ask that those going on the run ensure they have a full tank of fuel before the off. There is a garage in Draperstown

Re: ABR Ireland 2015 Sign Up Thread
Forgot to mention, the owner of the site said that there is a function on the Saturday night, so we would be better using the main camp site as opposed to the back garden as it would be quiter, then main site is the other side of the hedge of the back garden (visible on the drone footage on page 1) The choice is ours.
Again if you look at the drone footage access to the site upon turning into The Sheperds Rest is round the back of the large green shed, there will be an open gate to the left of this shed, visible from the front of the pub.
Also there will be live music over the weekend as well
