What's an ugly stick ???

An "ugly stick" seems to be the name given to an adjustable prop used to support one end or the other of a motorcycle with only a side stand, to enable a wheel to be removed. This is to facilitate puncture or other repairs on the trail or road.
I wonder if I could get a job compiling dictionaries?

Would it be possible to have a feedback sort of thing on sales posts where , you could say , ' sent you the money' 'I've posted you the item' and 'received item , thanks very much'. I guess it is making a system which is safe, non libelous and doesn't involve the moderators in loads of effort for nothing. I had a tool tube off the forum, which I am very pleaased with and if I could find the post I would send the guy a picture of the installation. There , feedback!

Bought a bike this morning from someone on ABR, excellent buy and all as advertised, no issues...as it should be!

How do I check how many posts I've made? Is it in my profile somewhere or do I have to look at my posts and check the number on the side panel - which this will allow me to do.
