Mike,
Thanks for a great weekend.
Please pass on our thanks to all the staff at the Laverstock Sports and Social. We were first to arrive on Friday and were made very welcome. David opened the gates up for us then we were offered a freshly cooked brunch "No rush boys. Get yourself sorted and we'll sort you out"
I had a front end puncture on Friday then after replacing the tube and getting going again hit a very small "Vicar of Dibley" puddle and went over the bars at speed. Bit sore today but no significant damage to me or the DRZ.

After riding on Friday we had to walk a whole two minutes to get a beer. Then another two for a really very nice Chinese. Then back for some more beer. Damm that Estrella Damm.

One of the highlights of the event, a local lad leaping for joy having won one of the 27 prizes in the meat raffle. Superb!!!!
Although we didn't go out on an organised run on Saturday as we were waiting for a mate (who didn't turn up) we made use of the routes posted on here and caught you all up for lunch in Westbury. Great to see such a diverse pile of bikes (and blokes) parked up, chilling and chatting.

We had already decided that because the weather forecast was pants overnight and into Sunday, if it was dry when we got back to camp, we would pack up and bug out. Next time we'll hang around for another night; I missed the piss-taking and bull-shit bravado that needs to follow such an event.
Did it actually rain Saturday night, I had none at home ???
