Back from the Boil

Just a quick note to report that I got back home this pm after 2 1/2 weeks.
For those that like stats:
5,000 kms (well 60kms short)= 3,070 miles
£320 in fuel
£190 on hotels and camping (family and friends have not taken to charging me yet!)
£300 on ferries (includes 3 overnights)
total: £810
food: unknown, but probably more than I needed!
technical issues: zero
fun had: unquantifiable!
damp days: 1 (plus short showers on 2 other days)
Lessons learned: 3 (1: don't add up the amount you are spending - 2: I need less kit each time I travel - 3: little notebook PCs work really well when travelling)
Recommendations: 3 (1: travel to meet up with and make new mates - it is always worth it - 2: EU travelling is sooooo easy, so just do it - 3: textiles are better than leather when crossing the EU - more flexible).
B)
