I've just had a V rated tyre in very good condition repaired properly with a vulcanised "mushroom" plug from the inside--so wheel off. I was at the Overland Event this past weekend and Motoart were selling a very well thought out system that actually (with special tools) injects a mushroom headed insert through the hole (after reaming a bit), and then you pull it tight from the outside and cut it off--like a vulcanised patch but with the tyre in situ. One word of caution with normal vulcanising--a tyre repairer won't "legally" do the repair if its outside the centre third of the tyre width--apparently a rule to ensure that the mushroom head adheres properly on a nearly flat bit.

now don't get jealous ... I know its superb ... but some of us have just got to be the best .. in welding, whatever.
I know its good, because my neighbour, a constipated chicken, just loves the look of it.

Modified mobile holder with my prusa mini's help. Comes with long cables and usb socket. I can wire it to battery, as there's little switch, or into existing wires, which are ignition dependent.

Besides, i ride it almost every day to work and back. It's a fun bike - versys 650. ImageImageImageImage

I had a 7,500 mile service carried out on my Suzuki GSX-S1000F. New plugs, change of oil, brake fluid, and filters etc. (but I supplied the K&N air filter) and a hook up to the Suzuki diagnostic machine.

8-)

I normally don't clean any chain, thinking, probably wrongly, that there is a store of oil in the grunge. But a few days ago, that oil all horrifically and shockingly spewed out to the floor and also over my rear wheel, due to the extreme heat. So I thought I better wash off the remaining hardened grit gunge stuck on the links.

I do the same abuse to my mtb,s .. only because the gunge eventuaĺy actually makes the derailleur gears fail lol.

My crf250Rally.. I actually adjusted the chain too, and also the gears handlever.. I was amazed how much better it all was.. lol. I was actually impressed with myself
