went over to the NEC today to meet Vince to empty the contents of my wallet into his lap and bring back a gel seat, bike start first instant rode there parked up and when I came back bike as dead as a dodo.
Pushed the bike to the side of the road tools out seat of and tinker away, not one biker stopped to ask if I was alright even though they had to ride passed me to get to the bike park.
I got cut up on the motorway at least 3 times by people heading to the NEC, Interesting behaviour perhaps it's all changing.
On a more positive note great to meet you Vince and looking forward to giving the seat some use and the neck gave no issue
cheers Spud
Un helpful bikers
Re: Un helpful bikers
Did you count how many were on GS Beemers? I think we need to know because it's too cold for sports bikes to be out

Re: Un helpful bikers
I always pull over to ask if I can help even if it's only to offer the use of a mobile phone in case they haven't got one.
Apart from that it's quite often good for a laugh when you find out the problem is something really stupid and the rider is a halfwit.

Re: Un helpful bikers
I also pull over or, if not safe, go up the road and turn round.
Thursday evening broke down on A38. Was passed by dozens of bikes. None stopped.
Oh well, I suppose it was dark and freezing cold

Re: Un helpful bikers
Always stop, although was waved on without even a nod of appreciation after stopping this year for what to my eyes was a biker in need of some assistance. Seems he was just using his fone. Not going to coment on what bike it was, may cause too many told you so moments.
Re: Un helpful bikers
I would stop if I saw a biker with the bike panels removed and it was obviously they had a mechanical problem.
But I guess a lot of bikers don't stop because they assume everyone has breakdown cover these days.

That's the first time I've been accused of looking like I knew what I was doing :pinch:
It was the knobbers in their cars on the way into the car parks cutting you up as well, think I'll take up knitting
