The standard 990 Adventure is nearly as tall as my Ten, but if you plumb for the Adventure S it's a good few cm taller still (over 900mm seat height if memory serves) – that said the GSA is no scooter either (and the seat's wider so probably not a lot in it.

Enjoy

(not sure which I'd go for if it were my money – possibly the GSA if I'm honest)
Yeah, I noticed Peejay's mounting / dismounting method and I may have to do the same!

I probably would go for the R version if possible, with full luggage too. I'd look for all electronic gizmos if I went for the beemer though - but the KTM will be cheaper which means theres more money left for upgradings!

So many bikes, not enough money (or time). Now do you go for the newish one bike does everything up to a point. Or the slightly older two bikes different roles?

Notice it has some goodies already fitted too :)
Thanks, as it came when I bought it, just need to find someone/somewhere to get the sump guard blasted and restored to silver.
Isn't the bash plate just aluminium? Can you not just use some emery cloth? If its fine enough it will come up well I would imagine

Is yours aluminium? how does it look? Could just rub it down I suppose, but would like it to last.

I am pretty sure it is. I used some wire wool last time to clean it up. It always has a matt sort of appearance as it oxidises, If you want you could then use hammerite smooth silver a sits an almost perfect match for the factory paint.
