been looking at a new sleeping bag been advised on the rab acent 700 yes ino its lots of cash but keeps you warm & packs small any addvice app thanks gaz ??? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

where are you based as there is a Rab factory shop in alfreton just off J29 M1 with big savings. Got myself a down bag from there recently.

Shame as I got an ascent 700 for 140 quid which is a very good price.

go out doors is £180 for the 700 & £200 for the 900 :woohoo:

nearly bought the 900 at 160 quid but thought it would be too warm. Got to admit it is a comfy bag and the regular length fits me at 6'2 if that helps. Roomy too with a good pack size.

Yeah me too. If you dont mind pack size/weight then check out the echo range on amazon, cheap warm and roomy but big pack size.

Realy good buy @ the moment.
A bit more bulky than the rab but a lot cheaper.
Great quality & used by the UK military.
Synthetic fill which is a lot more damp proof than feathers.

+1 For this bag I used it at the last dragon rally, don't think I will take it to Ullapool it is a bit warm for this time of year (I hope)
