just in case this has not appeared elsewhere there is a TRF led set of runs being organised over the next couple of weeks to run with the Peak Parks (motor)cycle promotion.

To Add to the Peak District National park Authority Festival of (Motor) Cycling 7th to 15th of September the TRF are pleased to be able to organise Guided Trail rides in the Peak District From the 6th to the 15th. We invite trail riders of all abilities to come and enjoy the Peak district at its best. ( While you still can )

Max group size 6 including leader.
All bikes must be Road legal with Tax and insurance and in good condition
First come first served Non members accepted
Small donation £5.00 for Fighting fund per bike ( not leaders )

These rides are available to non members as well as members

So if interested look here:- http://www.trf.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... 893#p73893 (possibly you will have to paste into your browser)

In essence various rides led by some-one who knows the area, have been arranged to allow anyone to experience some of the many Peak green lanes. There are some runs for not so experienced and will follow lanes that are enjoyable without being too technical - the only caveat would be a suitable bike shod with some half decent tyres.

enjoy Will
