honda xr headlight size?

Hi guys ..

you that havee had xr's do you know if the headlights are the same across rthe range fron 250 to 650 and use the same mounting system..side bolts...

and are they all plastic or later models glass and they all use the 35w bosch bulb not 55w halogens...need info for a project...

'95 XR6 i had was glass 35w
iirc euro model xr250/600 were all the same larger ones
earlier USA models and imports had the smaller size plastic ones

other idea is XL600 as that would be similar large size too

those transalp lights are very expensive and break easily or do you mean the non v twin xl600...

its for the ccm..lol

Hi Tramp my xr250 was glass lens and xr400 plastic if that helps , as you will be cutting hole have you thought about those projector lights ??????????? more powerfull and use less current one for dip both on high ????

i meant the halogen xl600r or xl600lm (some of these were twin lamp)

Freewind Engine. Generator = 175w.
Not massive but adequate for a 55w headlamp bulb & a couple of GPS's
