I've a few, having been bought them as presents off wish lists. They are very well made and worth the money. And I think they are a British company, with a 10 year warranty.
However I do find then a bit fiddly, fine if you aren't wishing to carry very much (which is always good). The straps take a bit of getting used to and it's a modular system so you can't just through stuff in a bag, close it up, lash it to the bike and go.
I'm not really selling them am I, but that said I do like them, though much of that is the appreciation/liking of the design, style, build quality rather than easy of use.
I've not used the rucsacs as I don't like wearing one whilst riding, tiring etc. Though my best girl (who rides her own bikes) and I wear the hydration packs loads, both in this country and abroad and wouldn't be with out them.
If you find a cheap place to buy them let me know as I never seem able to find them in a sale or discounted. Hope this helps but you need to think carefully about what you are going to put in them and how you are going to use them. The sizing does seem a bit on the small size compared to out 'litre volume' capacity. :unsure:

Supposed to be the dogs whatsits!

Very well made but expensive. Straps are quite wide and bulky, may not suit everyone's taste.

There are better value for money alternatives if you dig around on the web or specialist shops.

Available in Black, black or the new colour ........"black".

That right, just done a check and seen that the nearest HG shop is only a twenty-six mile ride from here, if the weather’s fine, later today, I might pop in and have a look :unsure: :laugh:

I know that you are after the "on bike" option from Kriega but I thought I'd add my 2 pence by giving my opinion of their products.

I have the R30 Rucksack. Regardless of your opinion of carrying a rucksack, Kriega products are a revalation: they are designed so that none of the weight is carried on the shoulders, they have a very effective harness system that spreads the weight evenly. They are also waterproof in the same way that Ortlieb or any other drybags are.

I'm sure that their on bike luggage systems are built to the same standard and with the same amount of thought going into their design. Yes, they are expensive, but so are the Metal Mule and Touratech products which people are happy to pay for. At the end of the day, to paraphrase what has been said in another thread recently, if they are what you want and you can afford them, they'll be worth it in the long run!

I have a US20 which clips on and off my rear seat. Great bit of kit. When I bought my 990 I didn't want a top box but wanted some carrying capacity without having to have the Metal Mules on all the time.

It's a well thought out design. The white liner is a clever touch (lets you see to the bottom of the bag easily). Tough finish and waterproof. Lies flat and tight against the seat when empty and still very tidy if full. Quickly clips off for carrying.
