their helmets looks identically like Viper bluetooth ones, just without bluetooth. those vipers has a good safety rating. so imho as a spare one for backup is ok.

Lidl sells boots as motorcycle gear but with shoelaces.
That is just a no-go.

The Lidl trousers are very good and waterproof too, the thermal inserts zip out.

I`ve used them for long trips in France with poring rain for 7 hrs and they dont leak:P , warm as well with a pair of "windblock" longjohns on underneath.

The bike cover is okay for the price handy to throw in the top box to hide the bike at work, the windbloc stuff is well rated but it can sweat if your active but for just sitting on the bike riding its a Good punt and thin and washes/drys easily.

I`m gonna get a Lidl jacket to try this year as the Frankthomas one is dyingafter 4 years.

I'm popping along to Aldi on Thursday to have a mooch and buy a few bits and bobs. As someone's already pointed out a lot of Aldi 'sale' stuff is branded gear without the brand tag.

Check out ponsenby smythe on the little video on Lidl website advertising the thermal sets, what a dick. His girl is quite nice though

The thermal sets look good value, might treat myself for next winter :)
