Had this one for 27 years but let it go to one of the restorers that had been hounding me for years

My BSA is a b40 ex wd and it was made in 1968 for the British army they used them till 1975 .

many ExWD B40s have become pre65 trials machines

Yes loads of b40 are now pre 65's the way to tell if its ex wd is if the engine number is B40GB
