first thing thanks to the barnman
a great route
we met on the a6 and droned in through some great twisty b roads to the kikstone pass
the kirkstone was loveley as usuual .. sunny and dry
we turned off to the start of a trail ..
a real treat it was perfect for a big trail bike
170 bog off big spashy puddles a baby river crossing and 11 miles of real beutiful vistas

Was just a demonstration of how well the barkbusters work together with the crash bars. I did find out though, that whilst they protect your bike great, they don't protect your pride!ask him what happened next cos i was laughing

Ha ha! Great write up guys! Stunning pics and decent weather! If you've seen my report from yesterday you'll have seen the snow myself and SteveT encountered! At one point the Ickle Beemer was spinning so much I thought I'd have to push!
In regards to drops, Fiona did much the same as you last Sunday with her F650GS, engine bars and barkbusters did protect the bike!

Nice ride gents, wish I'd known in advance I was gonna get out yesterday (all happened spur of the moment) otherwise I'd've hooked up as well :dry:. How's the bike running after the overhaul Barnman?
