Condensation, condensation and more condensation, unless you insulate it and ventilate it too.

I've had metal and wood.
Wood is generally better: more secure against break-ins and weather damage, easier to put up, no condensation, warmer to work in.
But more of a fire hazard: you wouldn't want to weld in one, for instance.

I have a wooden shed, I also considered a metal shed but was advised against it because of the condensation problem.

I've just given away a 12' x 10' tin shed because they're rubbish. That might sound a bit harsh and others have pointed out the problem with condensation but the other issue is that generally speaking they're flimsy pieces of crap.
It's absolutely essential to keep the air moving through the shed if you're going to avoid the condensation reaching a point where garden furniture develops mouldy patches and bicycles rust so leaving a motorbike in one would be a seriously risky idea. If it's close to your house and you intend running power into it then invest in a dehumidifier and see how quickly you have to empty it over the winter months.
They're cheap for a reason

What they said, we use shipping containers on sites and the water rains on you thru condensation.

Agree with all the above - water, water and more water. It can rain indoors!
