So, you like camping then!

Have a look on Alpkit, you will not do better for your money!
The spoon/fork thingy is called a Spork - nice titanium ones at Alpkit.
Loads of sleeping mats there too!

While your there, get yourself a Gamma headtorch for £12 delivered . .

. . You'll need it in the future with you loving camping and all that!

Definitely agree with Appleby on that one - don't buy the wind up ones or all you'll be doing is whirring the damn thing all night. I always have an empty drinks bottle handy (with a wide opening)

(I also have a little sign which I stick on my tent warning everyone else to stay away if they don't like snoring !)

Minky as you hate camping dont scrimp on comfort get yourself an airbed. none of this ultra light camping palava a proper airbed that you can can use at home as well, either when your in the doghouse or have that extra guest.

You'll need an airpump to go with it though

And who's tent are you sharing, make sure thers enough room or get a double  and be friendly

you'll love camping its like being at home without

walls, bathroom, TV, .....

Get a down mat. Something like exped downmat 9 or 9DLX. I haven't got one but would if I had the money spare. Supposed to be very comfy and thermally efficient.

The sit down and put your feet up clip.

Have to admit I love camping.
I went to the Caribbean on holiday with my wife last year.

Jamaica?

No, she wanted to.

i went to the vee strom camping thing last year ..i ended up in a barn sleeping on a archary target ..
i was wishing some fecker would start using at the time too
when it came to pack up [true ]
it was pissing down as it always does with a tent

i tied the guy ropes to the back of the bike and dragged the ferkin thing and all its contents 200 meteres over a shitty feild straight into the barn

it was only mrs minky [not amused] that made me pack it ..so the grankids could play in it

if i was on my own it woild have stayed in sutu tied to the back of the bike

the idea being when i got home id have two little bits of guy rope left
to hang meself with after the expieriance ...

i think i need a shrink

fak i hate camping

thabks for the replies ..not convinced about the bag pump :silly: :silly:

I dont think they do the bag pump anymore as the pump is now a built in. The reason is to avoid water vapour from your breath getting in the fill which would lessen the thermal efficiency.
