Re: 1150KenboxertwinWellesbourne BMW R1150GS
Got my first one in today, Check point 14 - Brecon Beacons National Park.
As I did a ride report in my car last weekend I thought I should pay a penance and ride to the Brecon Beacons in heavy rain and gail force winds, 245 miles and several wet gloves later were back home in front of the fire.
The cafe at the park does some very nice food which we were very glad of and the roads and scenery are fantastic even in bad weather.
For anyone new to the area the Welsh showcaves are just up the road as is the Touratech shop at Ystradgynlais.
Pick a warm sunny day to do it....it was VERY wet today
Why arnt waterproof gloves.... like er waterproof ??? or my Goretex boots!!
