ditto, dont mind getting caught in it but purposely leaving to go camping in the pissin rain aint my idea of fun lol. sorry guys the rain got the better of me this time

Just got home about an hour ago and a half ago. Sorry I didn't come inside to say bye to everyone. Didn't think the staff would let me in with wet muddy boots and, being freezing cold and wet, walking over seemed like too much hard work at the time and my legs were cramping up. Was nice meeting you all and apologies for that. Had a brilliant time offroad! Shame Jon dropped his DRZ in thigh deep water and flooding it. Helping him pulling it out wasn't much fun, haha, and so much for the waterproof socks! Hope he got home okay!

yeah for some reason they dont work if water goes over the top and then they dont drain! :laugh: had that problem at the new forest rally when it went over the top of my boots as i was riding up the road out of camp!

is it that bad there then? the cold on its own wouldnt faze me but if its wet as well, you got no chance to warm up. im glad i didnt go then, and i feel for anyone there :unsure:

Yep Me too Dave...... close enough for a trip - but not in the conditions - supposed to be ride out tomorrow to West Bay but I is only going if there is no ice about.

Catch up with you and the mighty G&F for a brekkie some time....more mods to the bike been done!!!

Is there an Ace Cafe adventure day on in Feb this year? I looked but can't see one.......
