Places to go, and a photo while you're doing it.

I don't know whether this has been suggested before, but on another well known adventure forum there is a whole list of 'your bike with..........'
An old structure, Bridge, Aircraft, even one for your wives, children, etc.
I was thinking that perhaps we could have a similar if not such a comprehensive list to encourage the use of our cameras en route.
EG:- The bridge one, if used could be anything from a rickety old footbridge to a grand structure like the Humber.
So what do you think? I think that it might even encourage us to ride with an eye out for old buildings or structures etc, and thus take in the marvellous country or city scapes, and view the world with a different eye.

No probs, just explain a little more clearly what you need me to do - or point me in the direction of a site that's already doing it and I'll check it out.

I like the idea as I'm now fully tooled up with photography gear; a new compact for the top pocket; a four thirds DSLR in the top box and a headcam.

Hi Alun,
The forum I had in mind is www.advrider.com (pics pics pics)
The categories are all listed, and my thought was to pick a couple with general appeal and peeps can post theirs up on there.
We might even get a few worthy of picture of the month, and ultimately enough to make a calender.
How cool would that be knowing that your bike might be in a calender?

Your bike at a garage.
We could even have one that reflects our collective need for a stove or camp fire
The categories don't have to be all serious, there is one site that has.. Your bike and a Bin!
As said if nothing else it might add another dimension to peoples travels, if they are keeping an eye out for something different.

In the middle of France 5 mins into our 1st ride of a week trip we find this camp bloke and the statue

Great find Cobra, that could be another category.... Statues.
It might even encourage out some old pictures of peeps and their old steeds etc.

Just had another thought, how about inappropriate signs?
At Christmas just passed, I was outside an undertakers who wished their customers a Happy Christmas!!!
