Hi all ,

Post by davecopland »

Just a quick shout Hello ! After years of BMW`s , I bought a T/A 700 {tri-colour] in 09 and have spent the past year and a bit in debt to touratech thanks to a mate who sent me their catalog just for a laugh !! It seems that since November all we seem to get up here is snow, ice & mud and thats on the `A` roads . So to keep SWMBO happy ,[ She keeps on reminding me how much the last OFF hurt :pinch: ]and after years of having to ride in cr*p weather at work ,the Alp is having a wee rest till ice is gone . Sooo yes ,I`ve become one of those fairweather old farts I used to laugh at as I rode past them with water pouring out the Ar*e of my leathers . Got to go now as Wife tells me that my pipe is lit and my slippers have been heated to just the right temp for falling asleep in front of the stove with a western on the box .
Ride Safe

I find fluffy lambs wool slippers retain the heat better than most and are at their best when the gout's playing up.

Welcome to the forum mate I'm a bit of a fair weather rider myself, for no other reason than I hate being cold. B)
