Going to be leaving London - camden at about 2-3 up M1 to pick up SimplyExploring then head up tut peaks. Anyone else leaving that kinda time and want to make it a gorup?

No problem mate, Bull in t' Thorn pub about 6 miles south of Buxton on the Buxton-Ashbourne road. Campsite at the back of the pub and look for a blue gazebo with the Royal Marines and Lairy flags flying above it. If you can t see that just look for the ugliest bunch of feckers on the site and that'll be us.
Aim to be with us by 0930 ready to roll.

If you want a nicer ride with mainly dual carriageways then take the A5 up from Hemel Hempstead. Slightly longer but less miles and not so boring. That's the route I usually take. We will be leaving at about 10am from Welwyn Garden City and taking small roads up.

If you want a nicer ride with mainly dual carriageways then take the A5 up from Hemel Hempstead.
Might take the A5 home on Sunday make a day of it but want to make progress up there.
Might detour to KTMcenter as need some winter gloves...
