found it but now ive got a dozen more questions...wouldnt a garmin cx60 (or whatever its called)be cheaper/better supported? what were your reasons for getting that particular one? any help appreciated in finding something to suit me

It was cheap at the moment there £109.85+p&p fully waterproof if you get one off these get it from electronics genie as it comes with the IGO maps on CD.the maps are a few years old but they will do for me.
