Winter Boots - Commuting. Reccomendations?

Post by Rhys »

Does anyone have any recommendations for some reasonably priced boots to keep my feet dry over winter?

Something that i can walk around in too is a bonus.

I was looking at 'altbergs' range of motorcycle boots.

Daytona Roadstar GTX - not cheap but highly recommended. Robust and all day comfy on or off the bike.

MY MAGNUM ELITE army style boots have thinsulate linning and sympatec too..very comfy and fully water proof and warm..I never have mine off allday walking at work etc..good protection too for commute..

When its real cold and snowy I just wear army gortex socks too..toasty windbloc..

Altbege do something similar as they are up your way..wide foot fitting too..not suitable for models or fashion guru's..

cheers dean, but need something a bit more casual! I can only find the MX boots unless they have a wider range?
