Just a call out for anyone travelling up to Ullapool for the rally and wants company.

Myself and Alun will be departing Stratford upon Avon around 9am on Thursday 27th Sept, meeting at the Bike park in the centre of town.

We will be calling at Lancaster Services (M6) on the way up to collect James691, then onto Fort William for an overnight stop in a small hotel (last night of comfort), then onto the rally on the Friday.

Post up if you want to join the merry crew!

99% certain to be up for this (sorry !) but will confirm on the week.

Are you planning on doing the Applecross route as well ? (I'm sill shaking) hmy:

Looking at the same hotel, but will need definite numbers, if we book in advance. It looks like it is under new ownership too so price may have gone up!

We have booked rooms at the Innseagan Hotel 01397 700841 at the following rates.

Twin £55 (2 sharing) £35 twin room single occupancy. Inc. breakfast
They still have rooms available if you call speak to Alexandria.

Home cooked food and a BAR!!!

Friday onwards to Ullapool via Applecross weather permitting.

Me & ST (my plus 1) will join the ride up if that's OK, i will meet up with you & Alun in S-on-A, will arrange with ST to meet him somewhere on the M6 (he's coming from Ashby-de-le-Zouch). We've got digs sorted in Dumbarton so will probably tail off around Kendal & get a bit of the lakes in on the way up. Might get an early start on the Friday & head up around Applecross, time & weather permitting then meet up with the crowd in Ullapool. Bagsy a pitch nearest to the pub

I'm silently hoping to make this too (service & new tyres permitting) so i've not said much on the topic yet, but i'd be interested in tagging along from somewhere on the M6, maybe Stafford or Keele services (or any random junction over the M6 to prevent another off-course pull in). Would that be OK?

I could maybe sync myself with 'ST' from Ashby and pre-meet him somewhere on the M6 if you were planning a fag stop around there.

I'll confirm ASAP and will get in touch with the Fort William hotel directly.
