Review your camping stove
Re: Review your camping stove
Just added a couple of stove reviews... I would have given a review of the Trangia 27 alcohol stove as well, but mine is now a copy bought from Lidl, which i find just as good as the Trangia i used to own years ago.

Errm one of the club bought one of them... and the bottom burnt out of the bigger dixie when we used it with my gas adaptor... use it with caution.Zookman wrote:Just added a couple of stove reviews... I'd like to raise the flag for the mini-trangia.
Having strayed from my old 25 to have a fling with a dirty little Primus – I must proclaim my unbridled love for my new-found Trangia. She's dainty and sweet-looking – gets plenty hot enough and just like her mother (the 25) doesn't mind it getting a bit rough
Ahem… sorry, that post went a bit off-topic. It's just I noticed the little-un wasn't mentioned in the listings Alun

Couldn't agree more. Keeps me in hot grub and steaming coffee every time. It's not the fastest, but it fits my evening camp pace nicely!Lee wrote:I'd like to raise the flag for the mini-trangia.

I've the Swedish one as well, does the job, use it mainly for water, rice or pasta while I do the serious cooking on the Colemans gas burner!
