Hi Steve/Mark well i'm fine with this if thats the plan i've only got a little 800 mind so i might have to ride the slipstream ;) the distances the other side look pretty comfortable with the Eindhoven camp over. Look forward to meeting up with all those that we can, just wondered if Brian/Picos is still on for a similar route as he'd looked into keeping off the main drag & a stop over in Holland

regards AL

Hi Qplate / all fellow riders

That's fine with me and no matter what we are riding 350 / 800 / 1500 cc I am hopping its not a race it's a meet up with like minded bikers on a great looking trip we need to find out if Brian / picos and any others wona tag along to get the ferry an over night camp in holland & if Brian is still ok sorting out a easy way there that would be great. I no by one of karnevil posts he is on an early ferry but it would be good to meet up with him over the water thats if he is ok with that .

Thanks Steve

Hi Chaps,

I've contacted a camp site near Eindhoven today, as soon as I hear anything I'll keep folks posted.

I'm away for a couple of days with work so it might not be before Wednesday though.

Cheers

Hello All.
I think I've got the gist of it.
23rd May 10.15 ferry Dover--Calais.
Head up to Holland get a few miles under the belt & camp for the night, possibly near Eindhoven which MarkN is checking up on.
This all suits me & I prefer a Ferry as it seems like I'm then on holiday.
Lightness is everything.

Hi All,

This is the campsite I'm thinking of;
http://www.staatsbosbeheer.nl/Overnacht ... ?tab=Kaart

Proving to be a bit tricky to get hold of but it does come recommended and the prices are per pitch and not per tent, so we should be able to get 3 or 4 tents on a pitch.

Cheers

I make this campsite west of Stripje & near Endhoven 190miles/5.5hours from Calais (no tolls or motorway)
Which leaves us 100miles to do on Day2 to the campsite up near the dams @Käfernberg 25
Hückeswagen
42499

I'm up for that,
How about everybody else?

Hi mark / picos

I am up for this and no motor ways & tolls is even better , so at this time are we looking at getting the 10 15 am ferry over and meeting up at Dover for the crossing

Thanks lads
