Re: A photo you took, today
I'd so love another TL to keep immaculate sitting in the garage and ride it during summer months.
Hard to find one that hasn't been modified too much, they seem to sell between £2,500 - £3,500 ish.
Lust is a desperate thing....

Re: A photo you took, today
The R has started to rise in price, as long as they are well looked after. The S is still rock bottom and surely a bargain future classic. Mine was a full power 1997, before Suzuki got all scared by widow-maker publicity and tank-slapper talk. Definitely the one to get. An SV1000, as it later became, is absolutely not the same beast.
As to modification, well in the case of the S it's an advantage. Remove the stupid Suzuki steering damper, do the R1 or Ohlins shock absorber conversion to replace that rubbish rotary thing, and gear it down for wheelies - and you have an enormously entertaining bike.

Re: A photo you took, today
The TL-R that I briefly owned was a 1998 model from memory, was in immaculate condition with a full Yoshi exhaust Race system, Ohlins steering damper fitted and a TRE Box which was meant to smooth out power I believe.
Both front/rear brake lines were replaced with Hel braided lines with EBC sintered race pads.
A well sorted machine at the time. I'd love it back to pamper to be honest!

Re: A photo you took, today
Need to keep my bikes ready and running for my oncall so had the best Rideout of April today up to Tescos for weekly food shop. Only a couple of miles but lovely to be on the bike.

Another day tinkering at the V-Strom in the garage......again.
Spent a while today slightly lowering the front forks as this improves the bike for quicker/sharper steering (adjusts the Rake & Trail), I did this to a TDM-900 many years ago and the difference was simply amazing.....for me.
