The job went on to Solihull then Wigan and back to Devon. Should have been biked all the way but I changed to my van whilst passing back through London as I couldn't get hotels in Solihull or Wigan because of the lockdown . Slept in the van , wasn't too bad actually ! 996 miles round trip .Off today and recovering. :D

Ha , brilliant. I grew up around Guildford, never saw that sign before though

A 996 mile courier job ? Tha's some going, hope it paid well. I often used to nip back and get the car if I had a really long run, best I managed was Dorking to Sheffield then on to Glasgow on a Saturday so paid + 50 % on regular rate :D

Looking through my digital files, this one from September last year. A ride over the beautiful Glen Quaich winding road, such a beautiful tranquil spot..!
I ride this route often as it brings you into Aberfeldy/Kenmore/Killin etc...

I would say almost certainly a Sparrowhawk.

I thought you would know that being a Fatowl!

:D
We fatowls keep well away from sharp beaky bits and claws!

I briefly owned one of these Suzuki TL1000R V twin beauties quite a while ago, then stupidly gave it over to my youngest son who was in his late teens at the time, not even sure if he still owns it as we haven't spoken in ten years. Such a brilliant motorcycle to ride.
I loved it..!!

Black heath lane, I looked on google street and it's not there,I think one of the locals must have put it up for fun ?
Mega week last week ,that job plus a Cardiff, Bournmouth and twice to Oxford. You'll remember as a courier, multiplying the week by 52 and pretending your on 100 Grand per year !!!! :D
All I've done this week is a Tonebridge Wells and 2 Crawleys so far. Swings and roundabouts. On the plus side the roads are a dream right now. 8-)

I'm a TL fan too. Here's an old pic of my TL1000S at Rockingham. Took it right round Europe to Mugello and Barcelona GPs and all mountain passes in between. That bike was a proper hooning toy.
