Bike well and truly run in and ready for the 1st service :mrgreen:
Ullapool & back via not the most direct route on mostly dry roads with only the odd wintery shower, leading to a really enjoyable ride out on the little bike.

Excellent Steve, your fairly getting about out on that 500X machine....! How are you getting on with it now it's clocked up over 500 miles then...?

S'Ok I suppose :D ;) .

Thats over 600 miles done now and I'm getting used to the need for extra revs to get a move on . . . even compared to my 22 year old Transalp 600 :roll:

Still manage to nip past traffic on the open road, just have to plan further ahead then when blatting around on the Strom :D

Might do no harm to maybe add 2-teeth extra to the rear sprocket (or 1 off the front) for better pick up acceleration wise.

I've added 2-teeth extra to my V-Strom rear sprocket eight years now and wouldn't ever return to standard/dull gearing.......it certainly makes for improved get up and go...! And it's not expensive to do.
