The revised list covers 34 years, in 1985 on route to the Falklands I sat down and wrote a list of cars I'd had since my 1st 13/60 herald in 1977, at that point I had owned 182 (I bought 2 on my return, a Pontiac firebird and 2.8 Capri ) while away (6 months) my mates where sending Autotrader and exchange & mart to keep me sane. There was a time when I could memorise the Autotrader and spot a car on the road for sale based on specifics and locale !
As to proof ? I can try to do a screen shot of my bike policy as the majority are cut and paste from there. I might also ask a couple of guys who DO actually know me to confirm the "addiction" :woohoo: I don't tell lies and try to avoid exaggerating, I am a bit weak on dates and times cos I am old though. Another example of "turnover" of bikes as you could call it was last spring, I was in a dealers looking and the dealer asked if I was buying, I said no as I had 4 bikes and no cash but fancied a change, he said what have you got, it was a 996,busa, 1250 bandit and can't remember the 4th one, he asked how much they were worth as he was looking for 2nd hand stock, we agreed prices and he bought the lot. 2 of which he still has.
A few bikes I hated and only kept for a few days same with cars the 2nd vfr12 I just could not get on with so only had it for a few days, I remember having a dolly sprint for 48 hrs back in the day it was a pig.
I have spent fortunes on bikes and cars over the years and can only think of a handfull were I either got my money back or broke even as I tend to farkle and never get get the cost of that back. My S10 was bought new in Nov 11 I think, paid £10500'ish and have already fitted over £1k of farkles, if I sold now it would make about £8k, luckily I plan to keep it for a few years ( said that a few times) I can't afford to swop and change as much these days and you would not want my debts I can assure you ! I find it difficult to explain myself in text and it never reads back as I think it should, hopefully I will meet some of you this year and you can quiz my vehicular history

I know big den personally. Have done for about ten years.
he is not exagerating; "This is a keeper" is usualy met with " yeh right " by those of us that ride with him.
check him out on the gs site as he has quite a history of posts there and is known for changing his bikes more often than his pants :)
costs him a small fortune i rekon, but that is his thing and keeps him happy.
nice chap and not full of shit.
as you will see i don't post much, but thought i would just set the record straight.
