Catching up now with this 13 year story and it is April 2024 after a few months break for the bike while the roads were salty. I wasn't sure whether I was going to use the bike but after dragging it out of hibernation it kicked into life much easier than I was expecting!
OK, decision made, so cleaned it up ready for another year, and ironically it was used a lot.

The DR was treated to new discs, the first time in 12 years and many thousands of miles travelled. The discs and pads looked a bit out of place on the old bike but, along with some other TLC it flew through its MoT in May with no issues.
What was the mileage I hear you ask? Well, we hit another milestone in the next post...
