Apparently the bike parking is free but bike kit is charged per item so taking a roll bag and stuffing a load in there might be a good idea.

What Andy said - it's a quid an item so pop it all in a bag

I'm taking him on the choo-choo train. I've pre-booked his seat next to the toilet.

It is secure, on the way in your bike gets tagged and you get a matching wrist band. There are three guards on duty in the covered bike park and they check the bands match on your way out.
I think there is secure storage inside the hallways. I saw some people depositing stuff there but I do not know the details.
I would say if you locked your helmet with a chain or similar to your bike you would be OK. It is all watched over.

What's your reg Ralph? I'll keep my eye out for any suspicious characters around your bike if you like  (kidding)
I just phoned a mate who went on Wednesday, who said although he remembers seeing the lockups last year, didn't see as many this year (he used his panniers).
Also, this suggests there is, but doesn't mention charging.

Can't you use a cable lock wrapped tightly around the chin piece to clamp the helmet down on the rear seat to make it hard for anyone lifting the helmet up to pull the Intercom out?
I doubt you'll have an issue though, it's Birmingham after all (thumbs)

Looks like a review on "Quest" ch 37 at 11 pm tonight?
Also "our Guy in China" was better than just about all the so called documentaries--he got stuck in-Pig shit and all--and it looks like wages are not bad and that work rates are sensible--they win through simple strength of numbers and size. He took those safety trousers all the way!!

I went on Thursday. It was very good, in my opinion (thumbs) . I particularly liked the Yamaha stand and the Ducati stand...
