ABR Wales Rally - Register here!
Re: ABR Wales Rally - Register here!
OK having lived in Wales for some time some things are true:
1) The welsh valleys, where men are men and sheep are worried
2) The valley commando's are to be feared
3) Rain is not optional
4) We advertise the rain to put people off from enjoying some of the best biking roads and scenery
Chances are you will get wet but you will love it
This bieng my first ABR rally and having the advantage of local weather knowlege I've decided to stay at Sleeping Giant's lodge.
See you in the Pub
Cheers

Registered and looking forward to a ride out on Sat, fantastic choice of real ales at the ancient briton, with good pub food, see you there, Steve.
Re: ABR Wales Rally - Register here!
Hi,
Put my name down already, but thought I'd mention something in passing.
I have an old DR650 and GS12.
I want to bring the DR650 to Welsh Wales as I don't think its ever left the county of Yorkshire.
Thing is - and I hope this isn't a problem - I'm part way through converting a LWB sprinter to a glorified tent with the capacity to carry a bike in the back.
I want to bring the DR down in the back of the van And then sleep in the van.
Is this OK ? Will I be able to park it up somewhere ?
On the plus side - it can always be used to transport any damaged bikes. AND I think it will have the capacity to store essentials for the weekend (beer, wine, Pimms and lemonade)
If the vans a no no - then I'll leave the DR at home as I don't trust it for long motorway miles and bring the beemer.
Cheers
Steve

Re: ABR Wales Rally - Register here!
Is there a register of how many/who's going to this - visible on a single entry - similar to what Steve T did for the Ullapool rally?
Convenient/useful to be able to see how many have signed up - on a single page.
Thanks, Siddhartha.
