I love this bit of a rally .

People on their way, doing overnights , others getting packed and everyone looking forward to the adventure that lies ahead .
Especially for those people who have never been to North West of Scotland before! or it's their first ABR Rally.....

Butterflies and double checking maps and maybe wandering what will lie ahead for the weekend.

You set off and find the road north , a smile appears on your face.
You have made the effort , your on your way ....

Have a safe ride up , relax and let the miles tick by .

After a 500 mile day, I made it to Loch Lomand, the weather was stunning from Cumbria and I'm now in my tent on the edge of the Loch. Going over Glen Coe tomorrow then Fort William, Mallaig and finally to Skye. The scenery is gorgeous and I haven't stopped grinning since leaving Dorset this morning.

Have a safe ride to the rally everyone and see you all on Friday at sometime.

Yeah, gassoon on the uk forum...Remember the Strom meet in Shropshire/Wales back at end of March? The last good weather we had?! That was a good weekend through the fords. Mind, as it happens we probably didn't swap more than a "Mornin" the whole time Ride safe you two...

I've had this weekend marked on the calendar at home for six month & it's finally here.
The furthest north I've ever been is Keswick so tomorrow will be all new for me.
Bike's packed ready to go & looking forward for a new adventure.
See you all on Friday & a few in Fort William tomorrow night.

I was out with the dog tonight weather has gone real mild not a breath of wind what a difference a day makes but I am 250 miles south of Ullapool take it easy traveling up and see you all there

Me and Brind are have just tucked into a curry in Perth, having ridden up from Lincolnshire. Looking forward to going round the east coast road tomorrow! 2 showers all day! Tomorrow night in Aviemore then Ullapool Friday AM

Well the weather here in Skye is fine at the moment. A but grey but not raining. We're staying in a B&B just by the Skye Bridge in Kyleakin. Off to stay in the lighthouse hostel in Gairloch tonight via Applecross

Still working.... 9 hours and 14 minutes to go.

Can't wait!

Craig, I've got a pal plus tent who'd like to join in the fun. Is that OK?
