I'll be breaking what's left of the engine, gearbox, clutch etc...
It'll go towards the replacement.
Meanwhile I've discovered the front brake disc is cracked... :pinch:

Let's be honest...
...they couldn't look much worse?!
The shock and forks have been serviced, wheel and swingarm bearings replaced and a new chain and sprocket kit ready and waiting.
Just need to figure out the old carb to new inlet manifold???
This is an injection engine.

Ah, then what about ignition and such ? Isn't that done by the ECU on that type of engine ? (I don't know, I'm just asking)

I got the new motor from Husky-parts over in Lancashire.
The only issue mentioned was the mismatch of the old carb and the new inlet manifold, which can be overcome... they said!
You can rest assured, I will let you know just as soon as I hit any other issues...

The forks are back on and the radiators checked out OK, connected up with clear hose and filled until the overflow did it's job...
Full to the brim...
Then the new motor...
But the swingarm... no?!
The new bearings are too wide to fit between the frame, so I've checked the workshop manual and it looks like the sleeve should be fitted on the inside edge not as they are in the picture...

A picture of the swing arm being removed confirms the problem...
