Winter Boots - Commuting. Reccomendations?

Another vote for Altbergs here.I have had a few pairs of the Field and Fell boots over the years.Being a tight sod they have all come off ebay.No problems with them,warm,dry feet.I can't speak for crash resistance as thankfully I haven't come off whilst wearing them.One thing to watch is the sizes tend to run a bit small,I am normally a nine but need a nine and a half or ten in Altbergs.I have just picked up a nearly new pair so I do have a well worn pair going spare if anyone is interested.

I've just bought some Altberg roadsters and I'm chuffed with them. They've broken in quickly and are warm, dry and comfortable. :)

Yep +1 for Altberg Roadsters.
They are of a tougher construction than most other similar looking boots, I would say they are boots of a high level of rugged everyday and touring suitability.
