Did loads as of off road as a kid a life time ago so guess I will have to classify myself as a born again virgin
on a F650 Gs.

a warning for those of us meeting at loomies-
i thought they open at 0700 weekends but ive looked at the website and thats only sundays, saturdays is 0800. its still convenient to meet there of course but 0800 and a coffee/bap will make it highly improbable we get 50mi to pewsey by 0900 to meet the others.
so can i suggest we are all breakfasted before meeting at loomies at 0730?
or, is there a place where we're meeting to get a quick bite?

by old boots
Morning boys an girls,
Just seen this, appologies for not reading through the entire posts.
Some of us have just returned from a week in France where we managed to get off road, Cancalne beach and Utah beaches plus some good green lanes. Pictures loading as we speak.
Add another two to the list please,
Old boots ~ Dr Big ~Ferndown, Dorset
Desert storm ~ XTZ750 ~ West Sussex
Cheers
OB
Both of us are on SP end of june with the S10/ABR meet and I am sure I speak for Desert as well as myself, we dont mind leading or being tail end charlies to help out. What ever fits in.
You are never too old to learn and its about the doing rather than the talking !!

Experience: the BMW basic course 2 years ago, two days on rough roads/tracks in Morocco, one day in the UK. Also, it looks like I will be completing 2 days training with black desert training before this ride. All the above on a F800GS.
... oh god, now I've got to learn how to change my road tyres for knobblies.
