Just picked up the XR400 from Canterbury. Brought it back to London on the roof of our Adventure Mazda 323. My first ever truly powerful bike!

On the roof? Vertically or horizontally? Or maybe upside-down which is how I once brought a new 2CV shell home on top of the old one.

PS. Mister Vince sir, may I draw your attention to THIS POST on The HUBB, if you're feeling borasic upon your return.

Awesome looking trip, massively jealous! Look forward to watching and reading about it.

If we don't make a way point we need to find it the next day. We'll have a bit of surplus on us but yeah, I don't want to push the envelope to far!!!

Just a thought, East or West-bound. I'm guessing west, central London would probably be an adventure too far.

Warning - The Mondo Sahara team will not be leaving from Heston services this sunday as previously posted on this forum.

Instead, we'll be going from nearer to home. We'll be setting off from opposite The Water's Edge pub, Packet Boat Lane, UB8 2JR at 4pm this sunday 04 Nov 12.

There's quite a crowd of ABRs expected and we'd be thrilled to see you, unless you want to spray acid in our faces.
