In truth I'm not the best person to ask as I've had it 2.5 years (now 4 years old) but have only done around 1500 miles for reasons I won't bore you with.

I do like it though it's a bit tall and I find top-heavy once fuelled but then I've not given it a chance. It's much nippier than 64bhp suggests and can be hussled along too but it does seem to vibrate a lot (newer ones are better). It's comfy enough and the seat/pegs/bars relationship is good for me as average height.

I'll be off to Italy at the end of May all being well and suspect I might wish it were a bit higher geared but that aside I think it'll be a good all-rounder. Most people who ride one like it and most who own them are delighted so I think that's a good endorsement.

. Apart from needing to get somewhere fast I reckon most bikes average speed will be sub 50 so 650's are all we need.

My list is very modest for my 16 years of biking:

Yes mate,the GS and XR, although one of the Dukes is still in the garage.
Sadly I wish I could've kept [strike]some[/strike] all of them, with some particular favourites, MV, K 1200, R 1100 S, RD 500, Buell, RRY, ZRX, 250 G5.
